Experience in District Court  litigation as prosecutor for criminal  misdemeanor offenses and Municipal Court for violations of municipal ordinances for the City of Newport.

Appointed Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Newport in 2016, 2018, and 2020.

Member of the Rhode Island Bar Association since 2013.

Recipient of the 2016 Client Satisfaction Award by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys.

Experienced in litigation that have included complex divorces involving distribution of assets with values in the millions of dollars as well as complex tax issues pertaining to the impact of the division and litigation of child custody issues.

Prior experience as counsel for Middletown and Portsmouth RI public schools; Served as Probate Judge in Middletown, RI; member of Board of Incorporators for Bank Newport; prior Treasurer of Newport County YMCA.

Author of Equitable Distribution of Marital Property Chapter in the Rhode Island Domestic Relations Handbook published by the Rhode Island Bar association.

Lectured on occasion for Rhode Island Continuing Legal Education Seminars conducted by the National Business Institute on “Spousal Support in RI Divorce Proceedings”, “Child Custody and Shared Parenting” and “Family Law: Helping your clients through difficult cases”.

Member of the Rhode Island Bar Association since 1979.
